@Pissed off neighbor- All good points! I even had a host who told me up front that they expect a good review if I expect to receive one in return. Of course the house was in such poor condition ( holes in the ceiling with trash cans placed to catch the water leaks) Smelled of mildew and mold. The bathroom was so nasty I didn’t even bother using it. Thank God it was only for a night but that explained how they had managed to get so many positive reviews. All airbnb cares about is that people are spending money through their app. They could care less what happens to you while staying at the property.

I totally agree. I am a superhost but also frequent properties as a guest. As a single female I read reviews until my head spins because I try to be very careful. So honesty is extremely important.

Total and utter waste of time.

Airbnb take down negative reviews. Airbnb allow fake good reviews…… Its called profit.

Just don’t use this unregulated Company – simple.
