It sucks some of the unfortunate things happened to you, but it sounds like Airbnb did their job.

Airbnb offered you another place to stay but all houses cost $1000 more. This sounds like you went to a really cheap place. What you pay, what you get . I wish these kind of things never happen, but I had a terrible experience in Newyork in an hotel. So you should have paid a bit extra when you were picking your house.
