If so, you jumped the gun by doing so. Cancellation policies trump complaints on ABB.

Airbnb doesn’t much care for the guests or the host. They just arbitrarily kicked tens of thousands of hosts off the platform recently mostly because of the murders at an Airbnb party in California. Anyone with less than a perfect 5-star review record is being kicked off without reason. Fascinating that they aren’t going to do anything about hosts like that but when you’re talkin about tens of thousands of dollars that is the reason my friend. If you’re a small-time operation like mine they don’t care about a few hundred or a couple thousand.

Start with a demand letter. That is the only way you will receive a response. You don’t need a lawyer. Just start the process of suing them. They don’t care about anyone, and they are overwhelmed with the volume of business they have. Also, never use this business again.
