And no, it was not cheap. the lessons learned from this are 1) leave the feedback the place deserves, 2) as you say, don’t book a place with no reviews and 3) this site has removed the property name for some reason! Strangely the 5 bed property now has 1 ‘good’ review which effectively bigs up the issues we raised with the hostess, from another airbnb hostess who doesn’t live too far from our hostess. Double strange, her ad has now been changed to show some of the areas we complained about as wonderfully clean, and she now charges £50 a stay for cleaning. Perhaps she no longer asks her guests to strip their beds and leave the bedding in the kitchen. Berea is a lovely area, but bryn-y-mor left a lot to be desired.
