This type of thing isn’t just Airbnb. My Walmart.com account was hacked. Initially they ordered a Xbox & Apple Watch on my stored credit card. My credit card company stopped the transaction. Then they loaded a stolen card into my account and started ordering. I deleted the card & cancelled the account. Sadly this is happening on websites with stored credit card info.

The exact same thing happened to me yesterday. Multiple bookings from my account using someone else's card. They are investigating the matter. I have communicated everything to Airbnb. Let's see what they have to say.

My account was hacked as well. The guests were using my name, cell phone number and credit card number ~ the only thing they changed was the email address. Enjoyed their stay in Brooklyn at my expense. Airbnb has promised the world and not followed through on ONE SINGLE task. Did not even let the host know that these people were not legit. I can't access my account to shut it down because they changed the email address. Ridiculous.
