You said you would arrive between 18:30 and 19:00h,
The key game at 19:15h. They were 15 mins late.
What is this about?
By the way, they said to notify 45mins before arriving.
Doesn’t it strike you as odd that they arrived 45 mins after you first made contact upon arrival?
A lot of guests claim to arrive at a certain time and arrive hours later. I wouldn’t stand there waiting for you at 18:30h.
I would come only after you did what I initially asked:
‘To notify 45 minutes before’.
And it seems that’s what happened here.
You didn’t do that. So stop whining.

So, basically, the cleaner forgot to put the key back in the lock box and the host had to drive 45 minutes to bring another one. That about sum it up?

I don't buy the rest of this story at all. There were 2 of you in the car, why couldn't the one not driving answer the messages on the phone? Where exactly did you go with the dog after leaving and how exactly did leaving solve the dog's problems? Why didn't you just take the dog for a walk or just drive around while waiting if the dog is more calm in your car? Why would the dog suddenly calm down once you got inside the listing? Seriously, something is wrong with this story. Over and above everything else, if the dog is that mentally unstable and you really care about it so much, why on earth would you subject it to the torture of travel in the first place? You are the reason a lot of hosts don't allow pets. It's not that hosts don't want pets, it's that they don't want to deal with pet owners like you.

That’s a new one, you had to leave because your dog had an anxiety attack lmao. You should’ve just waited or went to grab dinner or something smh. And what’s up with the legal jargon? This ain’t no court of law.

First world problems. Pathetic is right. The repetitive language here is just piteous. What do you want, really?? You've said nothing about the accommodation. Get a grip.

This complaint sounds pathetic!

1.)"My dog had an anxiety attack and there for ..."
2.)The host needs 45min to respond for a "lockbox" rental?
3.)What was the cost of this rental? Why would a guest expect perfect, prompts service on a lockbox rental? Any host that accepts dogs and single night stays is already being pretty accommodating!
Is it that bad to wait 45 min? ... or actually only 13 min past your time window? OMG

This story sounds of legal verbiage ... which is just not really applicable to online peer to peer sites (P2P). Remember that you agree to be a flexible, polite and patient guest when you use P2P. It is more of an adventure and not a guaranteed corporate retreat for a a deal way to good to be true! I would go to guess (since no numbers are given) that this rental was less than $100 a night and yet this guest expects "corporate retreat treatment" and instant refunds? The host is likely over worked and doing a few jobs on the side. I would also guess the guest said nothing about bringing a dag with anxiety issues that could cause thousands in damages!
