My Family is Devastated After Cancellation

I am in tears as I type. Firstly, our host cancelled our week-long trip out of state four days before check-in. After three days of back and forth, calling, no messaging responses, not being able to speak anyone that could help me at Airbnb after they said they would do so, I’ve missed out on several other rentals because Airbnb is not following through with what they said they would do to help.

Here we are a day before our trip and we have no place to stay. What is supposed to be a time of rest and relaxation has turned into emotional hell. I’ve spoken with at least ten reps in three days. Every time I think we’re getting somewhere we have to start over. At this point Airbnb support is the real monster here. Never again.
