Clearly Airbnb need government regulation and very heavy fines to make them take notice. As it is, they simply acknowledge your problem and then extremely politely (so polite it really borders on arrogance) brush your problem aside.

The idea is fantastic BUT only if people are dealt with fairly.

So, I suggest people speak to their MPs or equivalent around the globe and force this massive business to act decently. It’s happening with Facebook etc… so let’s bring Airbnb into line – only by hitting them hard in the pocket will they take notice.

I have multiple horrible issues too left us stranded in the middle of the night and in scorching sun as well I haven been looking for a law firm firm to sue air bnb but till now no firm replied I live in India presently so do advice if you come across any legal attorney to sue air bnb

As a host who cares deeply about the guest experience, I am sorry this happened today you. Reading the issues here makes me second guess my decision to be a host for Airbnb. One solace for me at least is that I offer a clean well decorated place and it’s safe and secure. I’m really disappointed that other hosts don’t do what they advertise and leaving guests unsafe and in filthy conditions. Not all hosts are the same and from the guest vantage point you never know what you’ll get until you get there.

I’m absolutely horrified with many of the stories I read here.
