We have used Airbnb in the past with no problems until we got to our room place on July,6,2017 at 6 pm. Our place that cost us $225 a night for 8 days, a total of $1570 was supposed to be non smoking when the place reeked of SMOKE. we found out for our Uber driver that we were staying right across from the projects . As soon as we arrived to the apartment, wow!! Opened the door and the smell was of marijuana in the common area before the apartment and inside the apartment. We called Airbnb right away and because of their strict cancellation policy they refused to return our money back to find another smoke free apartment. We argued our point of view and how misleading our host was about the apartment for 2 days while on vacation. We only got a credit for half !! What a hassle and Airbnb will never take our hard working money ever again. They are so unprofessional and lack any moral rights . Please avoid Airbnb!
