They didn’t complain about the cost because it was perfectly acceptable, hence staying 2 months and dealing with all that. That’s the point. That’s where I lost interest in their complaint.

If there were other options in the area for that price they would have ran out the door and never looked back. But they didn’t and they stayed for two months because they knew that everything aside, the deal was good.

They then become Mr or Mrs Helpful at review time and feel it’s their duty to let everyone know the ins and outs of the place.

It’s like wanting a ferrari, buying a buick and complaining about all the features it doesn’t have.

This poster is the prime example of a cheapskate guest.

I believe they are posting here because of their entire experience of filthy, too many people, bathroom, food, parking and everything else they encountered to warn other possible renters. I personally would not have stayed one night but to each his own, he never complained about the cost.

You paid half the regular price for a dwelling in Pasadena. What did you expect? Santa Clause awaiting you with open arms? You got what you deserved. Nothing to do with Airbnb.
