I wasn’t that bothered by it and was prepared to let it go.

Several hours later I received an e-mail informing me that I had racially abused an Airbnb employee and, if I did it again, I would be banned from Airbnb for life. I am left to assume that the agent decided to pretend he was racially abused because he thought that I was going to report him for racial abuse.

Airbnb never bothered to listen to the call, despite it being recorded, and simply assumed that I had racially abused him. I attempted to get this resolved for months, but was never able to get anyway. Eventually I was told that, because I hung up on him, Airbnb considered that to be racial abuse. The fact that I hung up on him because he kept racially abusing me is irrelevant and they can’t be bothered to listen to the call.

Oh. My. God. I’m close to tears from reading how you were treated by the host from hell but then for air bnb to pull a stunt like that is completely beyond comprehension!!!! I pray that you will sue air bnb out of existence, I am absolutely sick to my stomach that this is how a human being was treated!!!
