She was very likely racist, as most Italians are, especially over a certain age, that’s why she behaved like that.

Unfortunately, a lot of hosts have no idea how to be a host and a lot of guests don’t know how to be a guest. For hosts, they don’t realise you are renting the space as your own, and for many guests, they expect a room in someone’s home to have the same experience as a hotel.

Clearly sounds like this was a very unstable/dangerous woman who needs to be on some kind of meds. I would stay on Airbnb’s case to ensure that she’s permanently removed as a host, and that they take whatever action is necessary to keep it that way. This is clearly a dangerous and unstable person.

All rental property owners should have psychological evaluations and studies for whether they have drug, tobacco, or alcohol addictions.

This person cannot rent to anyone. You should have reported the incidents to the police as harassment, assault, and taken the host to court.
