That’s exactly what I think. Their company is growing too quickly and they employ people with doubtful skills and education as their “case managers”, which leads to all this unfairness. I recently saw their vacancy, they basically require no degree or experience for this position; if you speak the necessary languages, the job is yours. And yeah, the guests are always their top priority, their favorite word is “refund”, airbnb is all about refunds, what makes their platform a very good environment for crooks.

In NYC, USA, where I live, and likely in many other places where police have time to investigate and courts are helpful and fair, any of the illegal things that are claimed in this story could result in civil money awards or even jail time.
So, while it’s a wonderful story of what some people call Karma, and others call justified terrible revenge, it may be just creative ideas of vengeance imagined than real vengeance exacted.
All in all a good story that perhaps could be expanded into a screenplay.
