Are you insane? Do you know how many other places in Hawaii you could have gone to over that time and had nothing but amazing experiences? Geez! One week in Waikiki is more than enough for anyone.

2. Why on EARTH did you not take up the matter of the double-charge with your issuing bank??? All you had to do was file a dispute within 60 days of being charged and your bank would have been required to investigate and sort it out for you. Do you not know anything about your rights as a cardholder????

3. Why did you wait so long to report any problems to Airbnb in the first place? Surely you had to know that the unit and building was substandard and not as described as soon as you got there, and you still agreed to stay there???? You have 24 hours to complain to Airbnb and tell them that you can’t stay in such substandard lodging for what you paid, and Airbnb is required to act on that. I find it mind-boggling that you went there with the whole issue about the credit card double charges still looming over your head, and put yourself at the mercy of them. You have got to be kidding me.

My advice to you, is just… don’t… travel. Stay home, you obviously have no idea what you are doing, and now somehow you want to blame other people for your lack of attention and diligence.
