You mean that vintage amber edison bulb that can be seen on this photo?

These are expensive as hell and super hard to get, even more so if it was an LED light. I would be super-pissed if someone broke it.

Firstly, literally none of the reviews mention any negative experiences, unless you count the dog business in the street, but what has that got to do with the host or a reflection on airbnb. You want an authentic local experience , you got it!

One person mentions a dirty apartment by the cleaner, but raves about how the host rectified it - which is exactly what you want to see as a guest when problems inevitably occur. That's a positive experience.

All reviews are rightfully 5 star and he is a superhost, so that is one reason why the host received the preferential treatment (it always seems to go one way), but more so it is because your experience is completely different to every single other guest who has stayed there and rated the experience highly- that raises questions.

And the obvious question it raises is that when the host raised a claim with you and before the verdict was handed down you left a bad review stating things that nobody else has ever mentioned? This looks horrendous for your credibility.

Do you have photos of the place crammed with more furniture than the listing shows? If you're claiming discrepancy most people upload said photos to this website. I assume you have (and they were also sent to airbnb) because if you were walking away from the property already prepared to rate the experience negatively you would have right?
