When I call they say they can’t find anything. However, they state that they need to keep it for “public interest” reasons. I demanded they expunge my information as they chose to cancel our relationship. We have not transacted business for them to keep it.

The vast majority of Airbnb listings have no host present to present this info to. Just a keypad and you are in. Try imagine being a host and allowing strangers to stay. Of course they could still throw a drug fueled rager but you might have some idea who stayed.
