First off all, CUSTOMER SERVICE CAN'T MAKE YOU A SUPERHOST.

Seriously. Are you dense? Do you really think they have a magical "make Superhost" button? No. They do not. They have to verify if what you claim is true and, if it is, they email the Superhost team that CAN make you a Superhost. But that team doesn't deal with customers, just customer service. It takes like 5 - 7 days for that team to reply (even longer when it's around a Superhost quarter). And if they say no, the answer is no.

Anyway, evaluations start on January 1st. Only things received BEFORE the 1st count. Not sure where you thought January 1st was the cut-off date.

Granted, all of these things Customer Service should have (sort of) been able to tell you. They're NOT allowed to mention there's another team, just that they will "investigate the issue," so that's probably where your frustration is coming from. Regardless, you don't qualify for Superhost since the guest left the review on the 1st. Sorry.
