Wow, what a surprise, it’s all men who don’t “get it” on this thread. What if she hadn’t woken up? The thought of a naked or nearly naked stranger hovering over me while sleeping is TERRIFYING as a woman. There are plenty of creeps who touch themselves like this. She’s totally in line with asking Airbnb to ban this guest. What kind of creepy freak wanders around in the night like this?? Definitely not some normal, non-perv!

To all the people here blaming the victim ( it’s her fault for sleeping on the couch? It’s her fault Airbnb gave her $100??). This is classic victim blaming– you should be ashamed. This man’s behavior was incompletely inappropriate and that is his fault.

This actually sounds like a pretty good outcome from airbnb. I think suggesting hes a rapist is unwarranted I do understand you were scared and he was possibly not sleepwalking.

Also… Airbnb pretty much did all they could to rectify the situation, you even got 100 out of it yet you are here complaining about it anyway. Seems like you just like to complain.
