AirBnB’s business model is to come into a community and break all the short-term housing rules. I don’t know why it’s not criminal to engage in a big consiracy to violate all zoning rules. Here is PDX, you can go into the AirBnB site, put in a search for all-home rentals (illegal) and up come a hundred illegal listings.

Person from N. Carolina- you are doing your community a favor by standing up to the stupid host and the stupid guests. Don’t be afraid to contact a lawyer to warn the “host” that you hold her responsible for the “guests” behavior. You should be able to look up her address through the county property records.
