IF this is a vacation you have been saving for don.t waste $$$ stay at a hotel.
The apt is bare necessities.
Kitchen is disgusting.
Plan on eating out.
One would not want to prepare meals in it.
Ants, termites and lots of no see ems!
Host is a pompous man using air bnb as a platform to enrich oneself.
Geared to selling you a cell phone , bike rental, or day trips.
Be prepared to grease his palm otherwise you will get unpleasant feedback.

The host wants the $$$ but not the guests.
