Cindy I have been trying to take this post down since I received negative comments and obviously I wrote my story wrong because I don’t think me being pregnant had anything to do with anything until they kicked me out on the street. I’m actually from Boston but through out this entire ordeal that was the nicest thing anyone besides family has empathy for such a horrible position I was PUT IN. I can’t believe how nice and good of a person you are. I’m actually happy he didn’t take my story down because of you. You really gave me hope that there are good hosts out there. I am proud of the person I am because if I wasn’t as strong as I am I wouldn’t have been able to handle this stress. And even though in the comments people think I’m playing a victim. Guess what? I’m not. I’m sharing my story to let people know that air bnb double charged me 1400$ and hasn’t responded to me besides and email stating they are working hard to complete my investigation. I got that email weeks ago and I literally call them at least 3 times a day. No more. I can’t let this consume me anymore. They stole money from me, put me on the street and won’t even give me a penny… nothing. I an not getting this money back from them so I filed fraudulent charges and called the attorney general of Massachusetts. I’m a fighter and might have given up with air bnb but Im not giving up this fight. You really don’t know what those kind words did for me today. You really don’t…I’m so greatful for your empathy.

hi, sorry that this happened to you. I missed where you said you lived. Any chance you are near Jacksonville, Florida. If so, I’d love to help you out with two weeks free. If you aren’t close, please hang in there. I’d also file a police report. Not sure that the police will do anything at all, but at least you will have ‘proof’ of your statements and a media outlet could pick up the story and help you a bit more by getting their attention

I never said that sir and actually that’s a pretty mean thing to say I wanted to post this story to show people that air bnb makes double charges…my life is upside-down and air bnb still hasnt given me the 1400 and I’m still living out of my car because of it…thanks for the kind words while your in your nice home. I am reading this still not having a home looking for a community of people who have been through air bnb hell too…sorry if I didn’t get the issue across properly. Oh by the way I live in Boston. Cheapest one bedroom is 1800 and sometimes air bnb and Tennant at lease is how you save up. You have no heart at all. I wish I never shared the story…

Seriously though, you have to take some of the blame for continuously using their service after they repeatedly let you down. First time, fine, mistakes happen. Second time? Uh okayyyy. Third time? Dude thats on you.
