Hi, we just came back from Paris, and the EXACT SAME PROBLEM happened to us. Our room was broken into when we were out, the person took a total of 300 euros from our bag. We also had hidden the money pouch at the bottom of my backpack, so there is absolutely no way someone can take it without digging through my bag. They also did not take any electronics, windows were shut, doors were locked, no other signs of breaking in, other than our stuff being tossed around and IDs lying around. We made sure to pack everything back into the bag when we leave, but found that one of the money pouch was just lying on the bed when we came back. Our host also did nothing to settle the case. We are still in shock, because there is no way of getting help from airbnb. Did you try to contact airbnb, and what other ways can we report this?
