Did they compensate you in any way? the same exact thing happened to me, they incorrectly filed the background check, using other name. They have not resolved the issue yet.

Kudos to AirBnB for conducting a background check.

The only thing that they did wrong was fail to notify you earlier. However, you both knew of your past history and AirBnB’s policies when you booked.
