ALSO: I would remit all of the contact info from that state agency that is asking you for this payment info directly to Airbnb. If Airbnb is responsible for paying occupancy taxes, then whatever state agency that is requesting them from you should know that they’re paid directly from Airbnb and not from the individual host. If they’ve been neglecting to pay the PA hotel occupancy taxes for your Airbnb home – then how did the state even know you were hosting?
