Ummm, pictures do help, and you must have agreed to the cleaning fee before you booked. It’s his business, and it’s none of yours. Stay in a hotel.

I had similar experiences. Airbnb hosts very often don’t behave professionally and treat you like they are doing you a favour for letting you stay at their place even though you are a paying customer. They very often rent apartments that they run like hotels, those are not their homes. They have professional cleaning teems that YOU ( cleaning fee) are paying for and yet they expect YOU to leave place as spotless as if you have never entered it. After that they are writing you a review. This is absolutely ridiculous. This is not an exchange of favours. You are a a paying customer and unless you SERIOUSLY violate some rules, you should be treated with RESPECT. I am done with Airbnb. I am switching to other platforms and hotels.

Sounds like you need to stay in a hotel. None of this seems unreasonable, and most of it wouldn’t have mattered or happened had you not chosen to get drunk. Oh well.

Sounds like the cleaners made up reasons to charge the host more, and the host then took it out on you
